CrowsNestPostcards

On last November I made 2 purchases from CrowsNestPostcards within days.
About a week later, the seller sent a refund for 2 postcards that were soldout but listed on the store.
On late December 2022, I wanted to inquire the seller about the 2 purchases and found out,
he/she closed the store on HipPostcard.com.
I found his/her new store on Ebay.com, and contacted him/her about the purchases. Didn´t reply.
On January 7, 2023, finally the 2 orders arrived. More than 2 months later.

Now I tried to purchase more postcards from the Ebay.com store and have been blocked by seller's
requirements. Beware with this kind of sellers.
HipPostcard.com should keep a way to communicate with the store after they close.
No money was lost, but he/she pretends to hide their bad behavior.

  • I have been buying postcards from them for years on Ebay with no problems. I can't imagine the logistics problems of having items listed on two platforms. I wonder if they actually sold them on eBay and forgot to take them down here? I didn't realize they had a store here, maybe it got to be too much. As an Ebay seller, I can kind of understand them blocking anyone who, it appears, may cause trouble. Ever since Ebay took away the sellers ability to leave bad feedback for buyers, blocking seems to have become the sellers only option to avoid trouble. I have done it myself. Maybe they should have taken more time to talk to you, but many sellers just aren't going to take the chance of having their reputation ruined by negative feedback. Sorry you had a bad experience with them.
