NP87 This stunning antique illustrator postcard of Ye Olde Fishing Tackle Shop at Manchester in olden times is from Victorian born historic art illustrator RP Phillmore described as one of the greatest postcard artists of his time. It was published approx 120 years ago origin and is unused and bar lightly aged (just slight) is truly outstanding condition. RP Phillmore's postcards were notable for their distinctive sepia tone, delicate hand-coloring, and historical notes and have great unique character.  I am proud to offer one of the greatest RP Phillimore collections of its kind and please see all his other postcards at my store.  (Please see the amazing Manchester fisherman in the lower left corner of the card using his fishing equipment purchased at the store).
