Whining Boy Guild Chapel & School Stratford On Avon Phillimore Postcard

NP84 This stunning antique illustrator postcard of Stratford School with quotations and pictures of a "whining boy creeping like a snail going unwillingly to school" (see boy and passage in lower right corner of card), is from Victorian born historic art illustrator RP Phillmore described as one of the greatest postcard artists of his time. It was published approx 120 years ago origin and is used but in truly outstanding condition. RP Phillmore's postcards were notable for their distinctive sepia tone, delicate hand-coloring, and historical notes and have great unique character.  I am proud to offer one of the greatest RP Phillimore collections of its kind and please see all his other postcards at my store.
