Vintage Get Well Soon Card. Photo by Alfred Gescheidt , ©1983 Black and white. Manipulated photography. Pre-photoshop. Using film negatives.

Dr. Has X-ray vision, patient is all bones. (Piece is untitled. I have applied my own title for listing).

Renowned photographer Alfred Gescheidt has been credited as an inspiration for modern day photoshop. He would manipulate film negatives so as to be able to create new images . He worked at The American Postcard Company throughout the 1980's creating many iconic postcard & greeting card images. This is one of those cards. I will always send the best quality card I have. The picture is of a postcard like the one you will receive not necessarily the one you will receive. Unless I have previously specified. I will never send a bent, ripped or damaged card unless specifically mentioned.
