NP85x This stunning antique illustrator postcard called "Fresh Off The Waves Of This Morning Breezes Blow" "A Brigantine Off The Bass" is from Victorian born historic art illustrator RP Phillimore described as one of the greatest postcard artists of his time. It was published between 110-120 years ago origin unused and perhaps just very lightly aged but otherwise absolutely mint showing the Brigantine making its way through treacherous weather.    RP Phillmore's postcards were notable for their distinctive sepia tone, delicate hand-coloring, and historical notes and have great unique character.  I am proud to offer one of the greatest RP Phillimore collections of its kind and please see all his other postcards at my store.
