Vintage postcard, as shown. I was told that this is Philadelphia Rd. and Ridge Rd. c. 1910. The house attached to the big building is the Locust Grove Grange Hall c. 1933. After Prohibition it became The Rossville Inn. A fire destroyed it around 1980. Today it is Della Restaurant. The building across Ridge Rd. was the P. E. Church Holy Comforter. That building (less steeple) in the 1950 s became Urban Francis Co. Today it's another company, but the same Church building. Both Grange (Volz Family owned) and the Church (Mohr Family owned) had stores and gas pumps. Home across Philadelphia Rd. belonged to the Kreisel family. In 1905 he operated a black smith shop. In about 1950 his son converted the shop to The Rossville Hardware Store Please see scans for condition.
