Antique christmas postcard luxurious silver background inset country cottage scene with accents of morning glories and poppies

This is a totally beautiful image on this antique christmas postcard. The inset oval is a charming countryside cottage scene with a welcoming gate; the front of the card is accented with blue morning glories and red poppies. All of this is presented on a silver background for a touch of elegance. A simple message of “a merry christmas to you” completes the front of this charming card. The card is postally used and cancelled in dec of 1909 along with a flag cancel. This card is in good overall condition however it should be noted there is a bend in the upper left corner, still, an elegant addition to a collection.
