RA*  This is a beautiful undated but modern published official postcard from Londons Royal Academy Of Arts for this great painting by John Bellamy of The Pianist Entertains with a clock besides him and a funny face within the clock with artist details, dates, dimensions etc & Royal Academy Of Arts logo on reverse being the official souvenir from when exhibited unused and mint. This painting has a card game, clock with a face, a half man half monkey and more.

John Bellany 1942-2013 helped change the course of painting in Scotland. His intensely felt images were a direct challenge to the much diluted Colourist tradition and were at odds with the decorative, drawing room pictures of much contemporary Scottish painting in the 1960s.
