NP98 This stunning antique illustrator postcard of Luffness House during sunset with the skies darkening and more artwork showing birds flying through the sunset above, is from Victorian born historic art illustrator RP Phillimore described as one of the greatest postcard artists of his time. It was published between 110-120 years ago origin - please note this has been lifted from an album and residue of the album page remains on reverse -- graded vg minus. RP Phillmore's postcards were notable for their distinctive sepia tone, delicate hand-coloring, and historical notes and have great unique character.  I am proud to offer one of the greatest RP Phillimore collections of its kind and please see all his other postcards at my store.
