Lt Tilard Mad Eccentric Diner Food Burning Military Disaster Old Comic Postcard

ZX380x   This pre WW1 postcard forms part of antique collection of real soldier army caricature cards drawn around 1911 by artist H.Allen of which the originals were hung in the Billiard Room at RE Mess Chatham.  This particular card was drawn of Lieutenant Tillard from the barracks and as it seemed he was an eccentric eater so  he was drawn as a man letting his toast burn with the person who has served the toast with a really shocked face in this highly accomplished sketch annotated with the artist and accompanying name of the serving army member and whilst just a little aged is unused and pristine.  Please see all my other cards from this same collection at my store.
