Lt Findlay The Mad Army Rifleman Shooting A Dog Gun Military Old Comic Postcard

ZX380x   This pre WW1 postcard forms part of antique collection of real soldier army caricature cards drawn around 1911 by artist H.Allen of which the originals were hung in the Billiard Room at RE Mess Chatham.  This particular card was drawn of Lieutenant Findlay from the barracks and as it seemed his interest was shooting  he was drawn as a mad gunner firing bullets into a poor dog's head with the explosions above the animal (and Lt Findlays other guns behind him) in this highly accomplished sketch annotated with the artist and accompanying name of the serving army member and whilst just a little aged is unused and pristine.  Please see all my other cards from this same collection at my store.
