Loew's state theatre eureka california vera gordon postcard (c. 1920s) loew's state theatre eureka california vera gordon postcard (c. 1920s) click images to enlarge description very attractive and historic postcard. Opened 16 dec 1920 as "sweasey theatre". 1921 renamed "loew's state theatre". 1929 and 1943 damaged by fire, subsequently rebuilt. Closed 1973 and converted into a department store (closed 1995 and abandoned). 2003 purchased by rob and cherie arkley. 2003-2007 renovations. Reopened 2007 as "arkley center for the performing arts". Unsent, divided back with light corner bumping & toning. Very fine condition. (any vertical lines on the reverse are from the scanner and not on the actual card.) base shipping is $2.00 domestic and $3.00 international. Purchases at/over $49.95 must be insured.
