PFAS76a  A  rare opportunity to secure this vintage 6" x 4" very early hand signed autograph page of champion ice skating pair Joop & Carie (known as the Adagio Pair) who have personally signed the page resting perfectly besides their small portrait lightly aged but in great condition and undedicated too (surely the earliest Joop & Carie autograph listings of its kind).

_She started late and mastered ballet and skating quickly, unusually tall with the look, the line, the quality. Her partner was physically strong, also a strong skater, strong enough to continue with other partners. They did not try to be some other pair or try to outdo anyone or chase points. Deep in the Golden Age of Ice Shows, they got better and better until the World Champion credentials over the entry seemed almost an afterthought. They forged an act on the mercurial surface of show ice from the blistering circuit of international tours, working hard and partying harder and one of the greatest acts of their kind._
