As shown, please view all of the photos. This is not an original pencil drawing, it is a print. Based on a drawing and text by JEAN COCTEAU dedicated to the Red Cross in 1956 Saint-Moritz, February 1916. During the war of 1914, I was in Belgium with the marines, under the sign of the Red Cross. It was a great lesson in love and courage, an aid to becoming what Nietzsche calls "a good European." I retain my deep gratitude to this sign, the noblest of all. Jean Cocteau EDITED FOR THE FRENCH RED CROSS by Edicha Edit-Imp. Paris Standard size unless otherwise noted.
