Italia Airship Polar Expedition Tromsco Disaster Plane Crash Rare Postcard

TP402x  This limited edition postcard is totally unique - Its huge !! It measures approx 8" x 6" which means it will fit into a letterbox so you could send, but if your friend received it then it would stand out a mile !!  It was published in the late 1980s and shows all about the Italia Airship expeditions including the famous pilots and leaders, their portraits, the airships, and much more.  A flight and aviation history collectors paradise. Reverse has senders address to complete but instead of message area has a tragic gravestone and message in memorandum of all those who died at Tromsco in the tragic Italian plane crash (see image 2).  Its unused and mint and reverse states this was part of an award series of postcards from the era.
