This German World War I Picture Post Card depicting a Girl Reading a Letter was sent as Free Mail to Wik, Kiel, Germany in 1917 and was cancelled by a Berlin, Uberschönewalde double circle date stamp.Addressed "Lieber Heinrich,' this postcard was likely sent to a soldier, permitting free franking.
Postcard Specs: 'S.V.D. Serie 4206/3.'
Corners lightly bumped; top left small, mild creases (see scans).
