GEORGE WASHINGTON MOTOR LODGE, opened in 1964, gained a sense of notoriety in May 1983 as it was the scene of the altercation between pro wrestler Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka and his mistress, Nancy Argentino that resulted in her death.
