Front (Illustrated Side): Design: A decorative coat of arms, presumably for Wrexham, featuring: Shield: Crossed tools (possibly staves or shepherd’s crooks) and lions. Crest: A red Welsh dragon holding a small shield, standing atop a green mound. Mantling: Red and black with white highlights, surrounding a helmet. Mottoes: "FEAR GOD" "HONOUR THE KING" Label: “WREXHAM” at the bottom. Trademark: “FaFa REGD TRADEMARK” - likely the postcard publisher. Series: "Heraldic Series" – collectible series based on heraldry. Back (Message Side): Postmarked: October 7, 1905 at 8:30 PM, from Hyde, England. Stamp: Green King Edward VII ½d (half penny) stamp. Addressed to: Miss Howard 1 Seaview Shanklin Isle of Wight Message (handwritten and partly obscured): The writing is in cursive and mostly legible: “Dear …, I received your letter this morning. Am very much surprised you have not been writing sooner. If you possibly can write again to my home address. I shall miss your letters. … love to you. … soon.”Genealogy: In an effort to assist people researching their family history I have decided to make postally used pre 1935 postcards available for research purposes.
