Item Description
This picture post card depicting ships on the Suez Canal and entitled 'Courbe de Toussoun' ('Toussoun Curve') was mailed from Port Said, Egypt to Esbly, Seine et Marne, France in 1904 and was franked by a 5c Port Said Liberty, Equality, Fraternity issue of 1902, Scott 22, tied to the card by a Port Said double circle date stamp.Esbly receiving double circle date stamp on address side.
Postcard corners are sharp to barely bumped. No creases or abrasions.
Post Card Specs: '405. Lichtenstern & Harari, Commission Agents, Cairo.'
Light horizontal, diagonal or vertical lines in images are SCANNER ARTIFACT !
