As shown, measures approx 3 5/8"w x 4 3/4". This is a photo not a postcard, but was included in a postcard collection. The Back reads: This snapshot of Father Flanagan was taken shortly before his death. It symbolizes so well his life, his work and interest in boyhood. I thought you would like an eight by ten enlargement of it, suitable for framing. I will be glad to send it to you if you will fill out the blank and mail it in the enclosed envelope. Father Wagner Some information given to me by a very nice Hip member: This photo was taken by Mr. Smith. A Miami news photographer in 1946 whiles Father Flanagan’s Boys Town football ? team was scheduled to be in Miami’s Orange ? Bowl stadium, but their hotel reservations were canceled because the team was of mixed race. The boy in the photo is Mr. Smith’s son, and the dog boxer, is the Smith’s pet.. And yes, Boys Town “did win” the football game. (B.T.Alumni) Custom duties are to paid by the buyer in their country, and are not included in the sale
