com5 - Gerard Hoffnung was a unique German artist and musician born in the 1920s and best known for his wide range of comical musical works and drawings & one of the leading creators of his kind. This postcard is called Liquidamente and celebrates Hoffnungs vision of a fat woman signing with a beautiful grand piano being covered in rain. The card is undated but looks to have been published some 25 years ago from a drawing dated 1958 and the publishers are The Hoffnung Partnership so this is an official souvenir and specialist collectors card unused and mint condition
