NP96x This stunning antique illustrator postcard of The Clifton Suspension Bridge with added artwork of an old chairlift Crossing The Gorge and a battle taking place at Clifton too, is from Victorian born historic art illustrator RP Phillimore described as one of the greatest postcard artists of his time. It was published between 110-120 years ago origin and was lifted from its former album and the page residue of the album remains on reverse but otherwise great condition. RP Phillmore's postcards were notable for their distinctive sepia tone, delicate hand-coloring, and historical notes and have great unique character.  I am proud to offer one of the greatest RP Phillimore collections of its kind and please see all his other postcards at my store.
