This is an outstanding real photo postcard (RPPC) capturing the Chicago Coliseum during the 1908 Republican National Convention, one of the most significant political gatherings of the early 20th century. Mailed in June 1908, the same month as the convention, this card is an authentic period photograph and a remarkable piece of American political and architectural history.Front Image Details:Clear, sepia-toned real photo showing the full exterior façade of the Chicago Coliseum, including its iconic medieval-style stonework, turrets, arches, and castle-like battlements.Visible signage: “Entrance F”, “Entrance E,” and additional convention directional signs used during the event.Street scene includes pedestrians, a horse-drawn wagon, early electric poles, and period urban details.Handwritten caption across the bottom:“Coliseum — Republican National Convention — Chicago Ill.”Photographed and published by A.J.
