bg224  A vintage early 1900s collection of postcards of Catlins Royal Pierrots the first with some age darkening and a dark place on reverse to allow - but no handling - unused but early used appearance - graded good overall.  However a very scarce card showing them all out of make up. Comes with second postcard again circa 1905 or even earlier of Catlin's Original Royal Pierrots just before a show - no handling but still shows ageing etc so similar grading as above. The third (again portrait out of make up) is from just before WW1 - it has some browning with ageing but (allowing) is still very good and dated 1913 on the front - a specialist themed listing and all these antique Catlin Pierrots rare postcards have such character.
