For sale is a c1940s SS La Perla Cargo Steamship Real Photo RPPC Postcard During WWII, the Navy commissioned La Perla and converted it into USS Cygnus. See detailed history below. Photograph developed around 1940s based on paper. Photograph taken much earlier. Made to postcard size but doesn't have Postcard markings on back. (such as correspondence / address areas or stamp area) There is a marking Agfa Brovira for the paper used. Copyright B. Feilden, Southport Lancs.
