For sale is a 1907 postcard of the iconic Roskilde Domkirke in Denmark, featuring a stunning reflection on the water. Published by Erh Flensborg, this card captures the Gothic and Romanesque architectural fusion of the UNESCO World Heritage site before modern developments altered the view. Roskilde Cathedral was the first Gothic cathedral to be built of brick in Scandinavia, influencing the spread of this style throughout Northern Europe. It has been the main burial site for Danish monarchs since the 15th century, housing the tombs of nearly 40 kings and queens.
