Borup MINNESOTA RPPC 1910 GENERAL STORE Main Street TORSKE BROS. nr Ada Moorhead

Here is a nice REAL PHOTO postcard view showing a MAIN STREET IN WINTER with TORSKE BROS. GENERAL MERCHANDISE on the left, TORSKE BROS. STORE BORUP MINN. on the back circa 1910 AZO card. I verified the location online by finding a former employee there:John JACOBSON received his education in the public schools of the State of Iowa, and was reared on a farm in that State. On reaching manhood he began work as an employee of the Great Northern Railroad at Barnesville, Minnesota, by working in the railroad yards. After a period of time he resigned his position at the railroad and took up an apprenticeship in a harness shop in Fargo, North Dakota. He spent two years in Fargo, and then transferred to the village of Borup, Norman County, Minnesota. Here he was employed for six months as a clerk on a General Merchandise Store called "Torske Brothers". It is in GOOD CONDITION with light wear, smudging, creasing lower left------------SEE THE SCANS. THANKS FOR BIDDING!
