Very attractive and historic advertising postcard showing famous race car driver Barney Oldfield with cigar in mouth promoting Plymouth at the Chrysler Motors, Century of Progress Exposition in Chicago, Illinois. According to Wikipedia: Berna Eli "Barney" Oldfield (January 29, 1878 – October 4, 1946) was an American pioneer automobile racer "whose name was synonymous with speed in the first two decades of the 20th century".[1] He began racing in 1902 and continued until his retirement in 1918. He was the first man to drive a car at 60 miles per hour (96 km/h).[2][3] Unsent, divided back with corner crease top right otherwise light corner bumping & toning. Fine condition. Shipping is $2.00 domestic mail and $3.00 international. All items/orders selling at or over $49.95 will be insured and based upon final sale price.
