To paulinespostcards : How do I know what currency your cards are listed in (Canadian$ or US$)? Am I to assume that because you ship from Canada (Nova Scotia) that your cards are listed in Canadian Dollars? It would be nice to know before I commit to a purchase.

Hello, thanks for your interest in my listings. Hippostcards is an American website and the vast majority of cards are in $US. You may see £ or C$ on a few items.
I sell in $US which brings me inline for price comparison shopping where you will find I am very often the winner.

Thanks Pauline. The problem that arises for me is that after you add everything up (shipping, taxes and conversion to US$) paypal charges another 9.5% on top for doing the conversion. It ends up becoming too much for most cards. The other concern is that up to 5 cards can be shipped for about $2.00 Can. and although $3.00US doesn't seem like much it is actually $3.90 Can. for one card. The only way I have found to counteract shipping is to buy more cards, which only works with combined shipping costs. Sorry for the rant but you can see my dilemma.
