BG666 This stunning antique illustrator postcard of Bakehouse Close Edinburgh with alternative small portrait of Robert Burns not found on other Phillimore cards of this view is from Victorian born historic art illustrator RP Phillimore described as one of the greatest postcard artists of his time. It was published between 110-120 years ago origin unused but a little aged otherwise great condition.  RP Phillmore's postcards were notable for their distinctive sepia tone, delicate hand-coloring, and historical notes and have great unique character.  I am proud to offer one of the greatest RP Phillimore collections of its kind and please see all his other postcards at my store.
