Amazing Sunset Boat Passing Bass Rock Berwick Phillimore Postcard

NP87 This stunning antique illustrator postcard of a ship passing the sunset at Bass Rock with amazing shimmer and character is from Victorian born historic art illustrator RP Phillmore described as one of the greatest postcard artists of his time. It was published approx 120 years ago origin and is used but outstanding condition (ex minus). RP Phillmore's postcards were notable for their distinctive sepia tone, delicate hand-coloring, and historical notes and have great unique character.  I am proud to offer one of the greatest RP Phillimore collections of its kind and please see all his other postcards at my store.
