1952 Olympic Games Boxing Champion Willie Toweel Old Press Photo

CHAU0102   This is an antique 8" x 6" photo featuring Willie Toweel being greetged and shaking hands with boxing promoter Harry Levene. Also in the photo is former bantamweight Robert Diamant. Willie Michael "Willie" Toweel was a boxer from South Africa, who won the bronze medal in the flyweight division at the 1952 Summer Olympics in Helsinki, Finland. This has the Daily Herald press stamp on reverse dated 1958 for full authenticity and is pristine condition.
