U.S. Mint Philadelphia Pa
The Mint is located at 17th and Spring Garden Sts. It was erected in 1897 and is constructed of Maine Granite being fireproof throughout. It contains the finest Collections of coins in the U.S. total cost of Building $2,400,000. They coin money not only for U.S., but many foreign governments.

Message reads "dear aunt blanche, having a fine time, in phila. Was in the easter parade on broad st. Gerald was fine when we left him. The fare from the ? To shoen (shoeneck?) was $2.15 on the reading (railroad). Was there till 10 o clock in the morning love bertha."
