1907 Real Photo Postcard – German Folk Costumes, Buffalo New York This antique real photo postcard shows a group of musical performers in traditional German folk costumes, including women adorned with coin necklaces and feathered hats, a man holding a Lyre-Guitar and a seated woman holding a zither. They are probably from Bavaria or Schwabia. The postcard was postmarked in Buffalo, New York on March 6, 1907, and addressed to the editor Mr. Lamash of the Deutscher Volksfuhrer newspaper in Altoona, Pennsylvania. (possibly a misspelling of the publishers name Louis G. Lamade.
