A RARE 1907-1915 Color View Postcard of Jennie Wade (Ginnie or Virginia) Grave Monument in Citizen's Cemetery (Evergreen Cemetery) which sits on Cemetery Hill in Gettysburg Pennsylvania. Jennie Wade was the only Civilian killed in the Battle of Gettysburg. She was killed on July 3rd 1863 when a bullet passed through her sister's door where she was standing in the kitchen baking bread. She was instantly killed, and the Federal soldiers hiding in her basement carried her body down the steps where her body was covered until the end of the fighting. She was only 20 years old. An excellent condition postcard, very rare and in unposted condition. L&V Co.
