What does "closed" mean?

New here and a bit "technology challenged", but am interested in a particular card, to the right of which is a red box that says "closed ". Yet no offers on the item and status shows "watch". Does that mean the item is no longer available? Did the seller close the account? Any advice appreciated.

'Closed' will appear if an item has been either sold or ended by its seller (for whatever reason, unsold). It will remain on your Watch List' even though it is no longer available,
